Price list for the economic use of Komondor HPC resources
The usage fees for HPC are always determined in EUR. The use of HPC services may incur gross costs according to the following price list, depending on the type and extent of usage by the User.
For the free trial of HPC, i.e., the “Pilot project” service, each User is entitled to one trial per problem type, twice a year in total, and individuals from the same organization do not qualify as separate users.
At the first registration/project request, the User obligated to pay for HPC usage must use the “Mandatory HPC basic knowledge consultation” service.
Actual payment obligation arises only if the User is not entitled to free use or does not have the necessary “de minimis” budget for their project.
Costs incurred from HPC usage can be covered by small and medium-sized enterprises under the “de minimis” framework in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023 applying Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union to de minimis aid.
The User obligated to pay for economic purposes is responsible for the statements made in their declaration regarding the use of “de minimis” support.
If the project and HPC usage requested by the User obligated to pay for economic purposes exceed the available “de minimis” support limit, KIFÜ is entitled to invoice further usage according to the following price table:

The prices of HPC services are applicable for the given calendar year; however, KIFÜ reserves the right to unilaterally modify them if necessary, even during the year, with appropriate notification to the Users.
By using the HPC service, the User agrees to have acquainted themselves with the contents under the main title “KIFÜ - HPC documentation” on this website and to use the Komondor supercomputer in accordance with the information provided therein.
Furthermore, the User agrees to accept the terms outlined in the User Regulations available on the HPC Portal (https://portal.hpc.kifu.hu/pages/documents/terms-and-conditions) as mandatory rules.
